Coming August 7, 2020
I’m excited to share that my debut album, Sunflower Song, will be released on Outside In Music’s Next Level recording label this coming August. The recording features nine original compositions performed by my Kansas City based quintet and album artwork by my aunt, Nebraska-based artist Patricia Scarborough.
We recorded back on January 6th and 7th, 2020 and my engineer Chad Meise and I mixed the tracks in the weeks following. The recording was mastered by Collin Jordan at the Boiler Room in Chicago, IL in March.
I am very proud of the music on this project and grateful for everyone who helped bring this recording to life.
The single, “This One’s for John”, will be released on July 10th and will be available at all of the regular online music services.
Stay tuned to my website and Facebook Page and the Outside in Music website and OiM Facebook Page for more news and information in the coming months.

At long last I am excited to share that my quintet will be going into the recording studio in January 2020 to record my debut album, Sunflower Song. This project has been years in the making and I am very excited to take this next step in my musical journey. I am also excited to share that my talented aunt and oil painter extraordinaire Patricia Scarborough has agreed to paint the album artwork for this project. You can learn more about her work at her website, https://www.pscarborougharts.com/. There will be several opportunities to hear my quintet before we record, and I encourage you to try to make it out for one of these performances as the music continues to evolve as our recording dates grow nearer and nearer.
Check back on my website regularly or sign up for my newsletter to stay up to date as this project develops!
